365 Days of Poetry: Day Three-Hundred and Forty-Two

outside world overwhelms.
functioning, hard and.
each building a reminder.
of what was.

alone, what was wanted,
needed, craved but.
tools are lost, melted.
each step work.

internal motivation a.
dry well, the cost of.
losing goals and embracing.
fear and loathing.

a place must be made.
for us, you deserve better.
no matter what feels.
capable and safe.
