365 Days of Poetry: Day Three-Hundred and Eleven

sat out in the rain today.
just to feel alive.
hard to see the point these days.
feel like I’m marking time.

the wind began to blow.
shivering, went to hide.
did the sadness swallow me.
or the remainder of my pride.
