365 Days of Poetry: Day Two-Hundred and Eighty

off to see the wizard.
see if he can save me.
fill up with new words,
new sounds,
new imaginings.
inner self has run dry.
seeing nothing clear.
work my way out.
one rung at a time.
it’s been a hard year.
