365 Days of Poetry: Day Two-Hundred and Fifty-Five

the role of a woman is hard.
always expected to be there.
but who is there for us?
we have such tolerance for pain.
and all we get is whines.
and excuses.
and bullshit promises.
where is the equality in this?
