365 Days of Poetry: Day Two-Hundred and Nineteen

From today’s prompt at WtF.

take me to the field of green.
under the power of nineteen.
show me the turtle.
show me the rose.
take me to Oz.
where everyone knows.
the depth within a name.

Flagg will play his game.
whatever subgenre.
remains the same.
a song built to twist the brain.
behind red eyes
he’s not quite sane.
a servant charlatan.

moving through the worlds.
sing to me so I can whirl.
away and find the final tower.
down to one,
down to hours.
only to begin again.
