365 Days of Poetry: Day Two-Hundred and Three

the show must go on.
and I play my part.
the mother, the fighter.
the sad bleeding heart.
my tears should be red.
a vampire, disguised.
no cutting of flesh.
just death between the lines.

blinding, the sun.
burns and scars.
happiness is a warm gun.
just waiting to spark.
