365 Days of Poetry: Day One-Hundred and Fifty-Three

music soothes the savage mind.
takes the anger, leaves behind,
peace and all the tones of bliss.
the smell of words and
strings’ sweet kiss.

forge ahead, the coming light.
will sear the soul.
but fix the blight.
and if you want a better scene,
craft it in notes.
with lyrics to sing.
