365 Days of Poetry: Day One-Hundred and Fifteen

pick the pass of life.
one, two.
light the world on fire.
make it new.

it was a test.
to get out of bed today.
another life.
another love.
another disaster.

are you really gone?
in the second life, it’s hard to tell,
over distance and reality.
are you really gone?
