365 Days of Poetry: Day One-Hundred and Thirteen

meet me when the anger ends.
let’s calm down.
let’s be friends.

love me when the terror ends.
let’s have faith.
let’s make amends.

some are lost.
that shouldn’t have been.
some are forgiven.
worth temperance and skin.

some are broken.
forever tossed.
not worth the virtue.
not worth the cost.
