365 Days of Poetry: Day One-Hundred and Nine

around the bend.
around the lies.
we are unbound.
we consider to die.

the eyes, the signs.
of forgotten bliss.
hit the bottle.
and take the miss.

we are three
inseparable, but
for us to be
it’s time for change.

forgive me
this is the end of
a road of inadequacy.

I’m tired of being a good girl.
