365 Days of Poetry: Day Seventy-One

This is another war of worlds.
This is another subjugation.
This is another played out scene
lacking imagination.

This is another broken record.
This is a painted lullabye.
This is another childhood failure
forgetting to try.

This is another golden ticket.
This is a time to shine.
This is a time when myth and fairy tale
are the perfect wine.
