365 Days of Poetry: Day Sixty-Eight

wander.
it suits you.
and I will stay.
in a place that only
brings you pain.

it is home.
whatever happened
to my parents did not
diminish that fact.

this is home,
hon.
a mix of North and South.
it feeds me.

I cannot make others
pay for our mistakes.
you walked away and I,
found a new way to live.
