365 Days of Poetry: Day Forty-Nine

help me.
incapacitated by the full moon.
this blood has taken its hold on me.
though it’s said goodbye so many times before.

work through the sad parts.
a day has stood up to be seized.
it must not be wasted.

this is the struggle of women.
a life of unwanted interruptions.
covered in blood.
