365 Days of Poetry: Day Forty-Two

It’s still Day Forty-Two to me. Sleep soon though. Hitchhikers will also be invoked. Has to happen.

there’s a song called.
number forty-one.
not the meaning of life.
it’s the meaning of love.

by now, the computers.
were to take over our minds.
prophecy is all interpretation.
it’s the prophet that binds.

all the apocalypse players.
still can’t get it right.
John the Baptist had the knack–
be vague and learn  to smite.

Palpatine has stepped down.
too tired for this world.
the force he he willed to choke the gays–
recoiled through his pearls.
