365 Days of Poetry: Day Twenty-Four

is hard to do.
this time.

I have not had
these issues
when ending other things.

they were hard.
this habit is easy–
the only cost is green.

more each year.
and a little death each puff.

I am unconvinced.
I remember being eleven.

hating the smell
a month before
curiosity outwitted reason.

this is my example.
