365 Days of Poetry: Day Three

Part of the reason I missed so many days was due to Edith Roller’s Journals. They are engrossing, and a must-read for me before I go to rewrite the lady’s diary in Seller of Sin. This is the second poem I have written inspired by Jonestown. A shortie, thus the lead up.

Why did she do it?
It was love, you see:
“Our bodies are still in the jet stream.”
